Today we will be going with a favorite and this usually the kiss of death when it comes to make NBA picks.

Phoenix will be my pick today. I just think they are to big for New Jersey inside Amare should have his way. 6 points isn't much for the high powered Phoenix team who is playing for playoff berth .

Alright I am back from my little hiatus...I got one pick to day in the NCAA tournament.

Xavier versus UCLA ...this should be a excellent game. Xavier strives in games that they are the underdog and today will be NO different. This will be a hard fought defensive battle. UCLA has been playing with fire in this tournament allowing tems to hang around. If they do so again today they could find themselves on the short end of the stick. May be back later with some NBA picks.

Here are the NBA picks for today March 18th 2008

We have been doing great in the NBA...Take Detroit - 6 ..Denver is good team wehen it comes to talent...but when it comes to playing together and hard they just don't seem to get it. Detroit on the other hand is the ultimate " TEAM ".  Plus George Karl is the most overated coaches when it comes to winning a big game.

I know of late my college basketball picks have been terrible.

Here are some early looks :

Xavier - 8 ....Georgia is hot but Iam not buying into them...I saw them early in the year and they were terrible. They also have played a ton of games while Xavier has had a chance to rest.

Oral Roberts + 10 ..Pitt has been playing great but Oral Roberts is a underated team. They love the challenge of taking on the big boys. This will be low scoring game, which means it should make it easier to keep within the number. 

CS Fulerton + 11 ...again Bucky has been playing great but they have struggled to score points of late. When your talking 11 point that is a huge number. Slow down game here.

For the most part I have leaned over the years that you bet dogs during March Madness. That is what I  will stick with for the early part of tournament.

The Memphis didn't come through for us ... lost by three. A couple buckets down the strech here we could be 4-0.

Boston plays great defense I think Milwuakee will have a hard tiome scoring in this game. I just hope they don't give up a bunch.
